Export & backup an account

Get your seed phrase, private key and backup JSON file of your account

Step 1: Open DFinn Wallet and click on the account name at the top of the screen. You would be directed to a list of accounts.

Step 2: In the account list, choose the account you want to export & backup.

Step 3: Choose "Export this account".

Step 4: In the Export account section, you would notice that the "Confirm" button is disabled. Please click on the checkmark on the right hand side of your preferred export option to continue.

Step 5: Enter your password and click "Continue".

Step 6: Your keys are ready. Scroll to see all your backups, and click "Finish" to close the section.

Please save and keep your backup files in a secure place.

Do not share these files because they contain your private key; anyone who has these files would be able to use your assets.

Furthermore, you would need these backup file to restore your account in case you forget your DFinn Wallet password.
